On Monday, Sydney, Australia lifted its nearly four-month lockdown after vaccination rates reached 70% “double-dose”. Restrictions will continue to be lifted as vaccination rates reach 80% and 90%, with the next wave of restrictions expected to be lifted as early as Monday, October 18th.
However, the regained freedoms and sense normalcy (including church attendance) come with one caveat: They may only be enjoyed by the vaccinated. The unvaccinated must remain on lockdown at least until December 1st.
